I Heart Eco Bags!

Anya Hindmarch really made eco bags a cool item with her infamous "I'm not a Plastic Bag" shopping tote in the UK and the US. Here in New Zealand, designer Trelise Cooper would be our queen of eco bags. She has designed three collections for supermarket chains Woolworths, Countdown and Foodtown. The third collection has just been released. There are two designs, one with a summery flower print and a polka dot one. These bags are perfect as beach bags, book bags and of course shopping bags. I personally like to use the flower print one for grocery shopping and the polka dot one for books. These bags are limited so pick one up at your local Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown for a mere $4.99. Bargain price! I like free stuff (I mean who doesn't?) and I have two bags to giveaway. Tavi and Alexa new BFFs?

I love this picture of Tavi and Alexa Chung at the Chanel Spring 2010 Couture show. It's good they don't look too serious at a fashion event. This week has been haute couture week in Paris. Tavi, the 13 year old blogging sensation was lucky enough to attend the Chanel show. Jealous much? Why is Tavi so famous? I actually think that her age has to do with her being famous. I mean everyone thinks she's amazing because she started her blog when she was 11. All these people look up to her as some sort of child genius. Well I don't actually think it's that hard to be a blogger. Basically everyone knows how to use a computer these days. Will Tavi's novelty wear out when she finally grows into a young woman? I mean how many child actors have made the transition into adulthood? I can't even think of many. Hmm Elijah Wood, Drew Barrymore and........ seriously I can't think of anymore. I actually hope Tavi sticks to blogging when she's older as it seems to work for her. I just don't know how long her fame will last though.

I'm a Jinx!

This blog is turning into a tennis blog lol. Anyways both the Chinese tennis players are out now. Maybe I'm a jinx. Anyways they did pretty well considering barely anyone gave them a chance to even reach the semis. I am happy for Justine though. She deserves to make the final and I will be rooting for her when she plays Serena in the final. GO JUSTINE!

Another Underdog Story!

Been watching more tennis today and I'm really enjoying it. Venus Williams vs Li Na. Looked one sided to me but I've been proved wrong once again. Li Na lost the first set and looked like she was going to lose the second but somehow she managed to come back and win. It really was amazing! Kinda sucks she has to play her semi tomorrow against Serena, which means she doesn't get a days break like Zheng Jie. I'm not going to be surprised if Li Na or Zheng Jie wins tomorrow as I've been wrong twice.
