Tennis Days

I've been playing tennis nearly everyday trying to lose the holiday weight. I always over indulge on Christmas. The weather has been perfect for tennis. I've spent way too much time in the last couple of weeks either playing or watching tennis hence the neglect of this blog, but I will be trying to update it a lot more.

I'm a Jinx!

This blog is turning into a tennis blog lol. Anyways both the Chinese tennis players are out now. Maybe I'm a jinx. Anyways they did pretty well considering barely anyone gave them a chance to even reach the semis. I am happy for Justine though. She deserves to make the final and I will be rooting for her when she plays Serena in the final. GO JUSTINE!

Another Underdog Story!

Been watching more tennis today and I'm really enjoying it. Venus Williams vs Li Na. Looked one sided to me but I've been proved wrong once again. Li Na lost the first set and looked like she was going to lose the second but somehow she managed to come back and win. It really was amazing! Kinda sucks she has to play her semi tomorrow against Serena, which means she doesn't get a days break like Zheng Jie. I'm not going to be surprised if Li Na or Zheng Jie wins tomorrow as I've been wrong twice.

GO ZHENG JIE!!

There's hope for all us short people. I'm been watching quite a bit of tennis lately and Zheng Jie of China has made it to the semi finals of the Australian Open today. It was quite amazing actually. To be honest I thought she wasn't going to win but she proved me wrong. The fact that she's short (only 165cm tall) I thought it would hamper her serving but I guess she made up for the serving by having a great return. I love going for the underdog and I will be cheering for her to win the championship. Go Zheng Jie!
