Wellington Weekend Shopping

I had a fantastic time in Wellington on Sunday. I hadn't been there in a long time. Checked out my favourite stores and boutiques. Finally went to Swonderful which was so awesome. I love their selection of cute stationery and I got some cute little pin buttons by Nut and Bee and some Swonderful pencils with "The Outcome is Doubtful" and "Swonderful" printed on them which I am gifting to a friend for Christmas. I was also tempted to get one of their Swellington tote bags.

I had yummy pancakes at Mr Bun on Cuba which kept me full for most of the day. I highly recommend having breakfast there, not only was the food yummy, the prices were very good too.

My friend was shocked that I spent $139 on a Lonely Hearts T-Shirt from Area 51 but my friend is really frugal when it comes to buying clothes so of course it was a shock but I can justify spending a bit more on New Zealand designers. I've been wanting the T-Shirt ever since I saw it in the Lonely Hearts lookbook. I just love the design on the shirt. It's a take on a tennis logo with twisted creatures surrounding the crest. It's perfect for me because I LOVE tennis and Lonely Hearts, which equals the perfect combo.

I also dropped in to Karen Walker which is always great. I was so excited I got to see the new Topshop clothes that they're stocking now. I loved the flat shoes with the bows on them the most. I was really contemplating on getting a blue KW skinny belt with a chain but I kinda told myself that I can get it next time because I've already spent too much money already.

Outfit: Ray-Ban sunglasses, Just Jeans denim jacket, Kate Sylvester pin, Ezibuy breton tee, Bling necklace, Lee jeans and a Marc by Marc Jacobs tote bag.

The Cat on a Bag

Outfit: Living Doll jacket, Karen Walker t-shirt, Women's Accessories bag, Miu Miu pin, Lee jeans and Vivienne Westwood + Melissa shoes.

This black coco bag is one of the best bags I've ever purchased. Not only was it affordable but it really is quite spacious. Don't let the size deceive you. I can easily put my wallet, iPhone and camera in there with room to spare for a bit of gloss. The bag also has an internal zip pocket and two compartments which fit my phone and camera. To make the bag cute I've pinned my Miu Miu cat to it.

Spent the day exploring more of Melbourne central. I found out that Zambesi has a store here. New Zealand fashion represent! I love football and there is a giant one basically outside the Crown Casino so I just had to see it.

Melbourne: Day 6

One of my best days in Melbourne so far. My friend and I decided to take a train to Chadstone Shopping Centre and it was so awesome! Apparently it is the largest mall in the southern hemisphere. The mall had everything. Lots of food and designer stores. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven! I finally got to check out the Shanghai-Paris Chanel collection which was awesome. Very beautiful. We went into Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Prada and Miu Miu etc. I bought the cutest Miu Miu cat pin ever. The cat pin is from the Miu Miu Spring 2010 runway show. It comes in three colours: pink, white and blue but I bought it in white as it will match with most of my clothing. My assistant at Miu Miu was so lovely. She was so bubbly and friendly. My friend and I just thought she was so cute!

Outside Miu Miu. Definately my favourite store!
Outfit: Equip headband, Living Doll jacket, Karen Walker t-shirt, Lee jeans, Louis Vuitton bag and Converse shoes.

Melbourne: Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3

Have been meaning to post sooner but had some internet issues on the first day and way too tired. I am so far enjoying Melbourne. It is just so new and exciting. Lots of shops and museums which I love. I arrived in Melbourne on wednesday night, so I just spent my time sleeping. The second day the spent the day just exploring the city and visiting the Victorian Markets. It was pretty awesome but the only thing that bugged me was the people selling fake designer handbags. Ewww! Anyways I really wanted to go there for fruit. Man it was a mission finding good apples. Nothing can compare to New Zealand apples but there is not such thing as NZ apples in OZ as they don't import NZ apples ever. My friend and I finally found some decent apples but they weren't very crisp. Oh well I can survive without apples for 8 more days. Stayed in town pretty late as I went to see Tim Burton being interviewed outside the ACMI building. His exhibition is being shown there. Freaking awesome interview but ridiculous crowd. I was also tired on day 2 as I stayed up watching the football. I had to support the All Whites. It was a must win game but it wasn't meant to be. They did NZ proud! Well day 3 (yesterday) was just more town exploring and my friend and I went to this awesome Chinese restaurant and had heaps of dumplings. Can't actually remember the name. Chinatown was awesome and we finally found a grocery shop. We were dying for noodles. The day ended pretty crap as it started to rain pretty hard and we didn't have an umbrella and got completely drenched!

Inside ACMI. I have no idea what the thing behind me is called but it is part of the Tim Burton exhibition.

Autumn has arrived

So cold this morning. Autumn has truely arrived and that means putting away my summer clothes. Yay out come my jackets and coats. I've always had a thing for dressing for colder days. Seriously I have a million jackets and coats and I bought another this wednesday. The jacket I'm wearing today is one I bought from Jay Jays. I just couldn't help myself. It's actually part of the Alice in Wonderland collection. I love the Alice in Wonderland clothing and I'm thinking of getting more pieces. Today I'm wearing a red and black checkered Alice in Wonderland jacket, long black top from Jeans West, t-shirt by Karen Walker, jeans by Lee, bag by Guess and white Converse Shoes.

Peace and Heart

Notes and Outfit

The weather is turning sour. Where has summer gone again? Crazy weather = staying inside and doing something productive like jotting notes. I have an endless supply of notepads. Too many to count actually. I'm currently loving this Hello Kitty one which I bought recently. I haven't really bothered to dress up nicely today. Actually I don't really dress that nicely. I like the casual , I kind of got out of bed look. Today I'm wearing a leather jacket from Just Jeans, plank bow ace tee by Federation, jeans by Lee and shoes by Annapelle.

Peace Out!
