So today we celebrate the boy wizard wonder Harry Potter's Birthday! No coincidence it is also J.K Rowling's Birthday too. I'm sure everyone has already seen the last Potter film Deathly Hallows Part. 2 right? Well if you haven't, get your butt to the nearest cinema to see it. I have to say it is quite a good film. Did cry really hard during the bit where Harry finds out the truth about Snape. I'm not too embarrassed to admit this as there were tonnes of people crying during the Midnight screening.
Anyways I hope J.K has an awesome Birthday and I am forever grateful to her for writing the series of books that I've enjoyed since I was 10. I'm 24 now so that's 14 years of unforgettable memories!

Harry Potter Forever!
I've just gotten back from the Midnight screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part.2. I'm not usually a big fan of the movies but I really enjoyed this one. I think it is because they didn't skimp on too much.
So I arrive at the cinema at 10:30pm thinking it's plenty of time because I'm an hour and a half early. Nope, I should have arrived earlier. There were loads of people. I mean scary amounts and I live in Palmerston North a town with about 75 thousand. I loved how so many people went dressed up and plus it made me feel a lot less embarrassed to be in all my Gryffindor get-up. I was fortunate enough to be in Cinema 1 (there were two other cinemas showing the film including one for 3D, which I hate) because it was the first cinema to let people in and it was also the cinema which sold tickets first, so I was with the hardcore fans. There were three chicks that had full Gryffindor robes and all but I was extremely jealous of them because they had these really cool light up wands.
Deathly Hallows Part.2 was done right which they haven't been in the past. I especially loved The Prince's Tale part of the movie. It was vindicating for Snape and I couldn't resist crying. I tried my best to stop but I just couldn't! The action scenes were done well and I thought the music throughout the movie was perfect. I'm not going to talk too much about scenes because I don't want to ruin it for others who have yet to watch it.
I have been quite emotional after the movie because Harry Potter has been with me since I picked up Philosopher's Stone back when I was 11. I'm 24 now and I'm still obsessed. The Harry Potter series will always have a special place in my heart. I hold on to it because it reminds me of my youth and has provided me with endless joy. Harry Potter Forever!

Daddy I want pizza and lie in glittery Miu Miu shoes!
To be honest I know very little about Hailee Steinfeld. All I know is that she's an actress. I think she looks amazing in these Miu Miu FW 2011 campaign shots though. The shot of her lying in all those glittery shoes makes me so happy. What girl wouldn't love being surrounded by beautiful Miu Miu shoes? I'm glad they didn't use a stick thin model for the campaign, because real girls eat pizza.

Chanel Haute Couture FW 2011/2012
Grand Palais on July 5, 2011 in Paris, France. |
I loved the entire collection but my favourite design has to be the white feather like dress. It is so chic but it could also be dressed down. Perfect!

Wish List Wednesday: Karen Walker Number Six Sunglasses in Crazy Tort
I love basically anything Karen Walker touches and I really love her sunglasses. I wish I had the disposable income to purchase all the Karen Walker I want. I have previously featured Karen Walker Number Six sunnies in black on my "Wish List Wednesday" but I now really also love them in "Crazy Tort". Aren't they gorgeous?

Chanel Tattoos!
Every girls dream is to own something Chanel right? Well I finally fulfilled my dream two weeks ago when I purchased a set of temporary tattoos from Chanel's SS 2010 runway show. I would have prefered my first Chanel purchase to be the classic 2.55 Bag, but at this stage of my life I just don't have the money. I have applied a tiny Chanel logo in a circle as my first tattoo on my left arm just above my hand. It looks pretty good and it hasn't come off after 3 days.

Sale at Karen Walker!
I received an email yesterday telling me that all Karen Walker stores are having a sample sale of up to 80% today. It sucks because there is no way I can get to Wellington, where the closest Karen Walker store is. However, I hope everyone who can make it has a great time snagging a bargain!
