Great night out at The Plaza!

OMG I've had the best time tonight at The Plaza's VIP night out! I got to meet Colin Mathura-Jeffree, he's one of New Zealand's well known male models. I was really nervous to go up to him and say hi and also get a picture. You should have seen all the people who were like stunned and none of them were man enough to go up to him for a picture. I'm kinda glad I did and kinda not because I look terrible in the picture. Colin looked fabulous. He was wearing a Ed Hardy leather jacket, black jeans and very nice black leather shoes. The Plaza really put on a show tonight. I got free cocktails, macaroons and chocolate. I also went in the draw to win a beautiful Louis Vuitton Epi Alma in Black but you have to spend $100 to get into the draw. I also went into the draw to win a matching Louis Vuitton wallet but sadly I didn't win. The Louis Vuitton bag won't be drawn until april 25th so there is time for you to enter but you have to spend $100 in The Plaza. Get shopping Palmerston North!

Karen Walker vs Marc by Marc Jacobs

Been surfing the net looking for clothes and accessories as usual. I stumbled across a Marc by Marc Jacobs necklace (pictured on right) that looks so similar to one of Karen Walkers signature necklaces. The Karen Walker bow necklace (pictured on left) is made of sterling silver while the Marc by Marc Jacobs one is only silver plated. I guess the quality is reflected in the price. The Karen Walker bow necklace will set you back $243 while the Marc by Marc Jacobs one is only $125, which is nearly half the price. Is it just me but does Marc Jacobs copy a lot from other designers? It seems like he does. I personally like the Karen Walker necklace much better than the Marc by Marc Jacobs one but if your on a tight budget I would recommend the Marc by Marc Jacobs one. Who wins this battle: Karen Walker vs Marc by Marc Jacobs?

OPI Hong Kong Collection

I went shopping at Farmers yesterday and found an amazing nail polish collection, the OPI Hong Kong collection. The collection is based on the shades that capture the brilliant sharpness of the cityscape. I love the colours and especially the names of the colours. There's "Jade is the New Black", "Dim Sum Plum", "Bling Dynasty", "Red My Fortune Cookie" and eight more colours. I just can't be bothered naming them all. I couldn't help myself and I bought the "Red My Fortune Cookie" polish as seen on the right. I really wanted a nice red polish and I think it will be perfect. I'm going to put it on right now. Will show you guys the finished product tomorrow.

Louis Vuitton Australia News

I now have one extra reason to envy Australia. I already have enough being Kiwi and all. Anyways been browsing the Louis Vuitton website and came across some great news for Louis Vuitton fans in Australia. You lucky Aussies can now order Louis Vuitton products via their new mail order service. You basically choose all the Louis Vuitton product(s) you want and call 1300 883 880 to place your order for direct doorstep delivery. So awesome! I have my fingers crossed that they will one day have this sort of service in New Zealand. For now all I can do is envy the Aussies.
