Daffodil Day

I have been meaning to post this two days ago but I totally forgot. Anyways on friday it was Daffodil Day which is a day to donate to the New Zealand Cancer Society. I think it's a wonderful day because I would walk all around town and see nearly everyone with the daffodil, fake or real. I'm sure nearly everyone knows someone with cancer or has been through it. I opted for the fake daffodil mill because I have plenty of daffodils in my own garden. Oh I finally bought a straw boater. Only $20 from Glassons! I love it so much that I wore it the moment I could.

Black on Black: Vogue China, September 2010

I just love this editorial. It's so chic and features some of my favourite models Liu Wen, Tao Okamoto, Shu Pei Qin, Fei Fei Sun and Ming Xi. I have a little obsession with the colour black because it's such a timeless colour and will always be. I especially love this editorial because it showcases beautiful Asian models which doesn't happen enough in editorials.

I've finally got my shop started! I have two wardrobes and I've really got no room so I'm going to clear some items. Susie hearts Kiwi designers!

The Cat on a Bag

Outfit: Living Doll jacket, Karen Walker t-shirt, Women's Accessories bag, Miu Miu pin, Lee jeans and Vivienne Westwood + Melissa shoes.

This black coco bag is one of the best bags I've ever purchased. Not only was it affordable but it really is quite spacious. Don't let the size deceive you. I can easily put my wallet, iPhone and camera in there with room to spare for a bit of gloss. The bag also has an internal zip pocket and two compartments which fit my phone and camera. To make the bag cute I've pinned my Miu Miu cat to it.

The Naked and Famous album update

The Naked and Famous is definately one of my favourite bands this year. There has finally been a release date set for their debut album which will be on the 6th of September this year. Their debut album release will only be for New Zealand. Hopefully they will go global soon because they are an awesome band. I love the name of the album: Passive Me Aggressive You.
