Sometimes the Grammys are hard to watch but this year I enjoyed it. Maybe because there were a lot more performances. Here are some of my favourite Grammy moments:
Green Day win Best Rock Album for "21st Century Breakdown".
Green Day's kick-arse peformance of "21 Guns" with the cast of "American Idiot".
Imogen Heap finally wins a Grammy! She was robbed last time. Here she is pictured with her Grammy. Winning Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for "Ellipse".
I think Stephen Colbert is f**king funny. Here he is with his Grammy which he won in the Best Comedy Album category for "A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!".
I know these were probably not the Grammy highlights that people expect. I'm so over hearing how great Beyonce and Taylor Swift are. The whole world gets it. I have nothing against these two artist but there is more to music than all the commercial stuff. Imogen Heap deserves her Grammy. She's so original, is a great songwriter and she isn't as well known but she is just as deserving of recognition. That's all for my favourite highlights.
